If the TV show Friends were set in modern day Schaumburg, this would be the Central Perk of the show. It's a great place for friends to hang out and drinkcoffee, bubble tea, or eating bing soo. I came here today to try the mango bingsoo and it's as great as everyone says it is! It's got mango ice cream, mango fruit pieces (not frozen pieces!), fruity pebbles, red beans, and shaved ice. It's so good! You can either get it in a cup or bowl and I got mine in a cup. They give you a decent amount, but I do feel it's a tad bit pricey.
Someone mentioned on here that the place isn't that clean but I disagree. The place looked clean to me. It was a great place to get away from the heat outside!
I could see myself coming back here with friends and just hang out while eating bing soo or drinking a bubble smoothie. -

We love this place! The place is chill though oftentimes overcrowded lately. They've been around for many years and not surprised that it gets busy as it's the only place in the burbs that's open late throughout the week and into weekends. We've tried everything from bubble tea, bing-soo to their made to order waffles and everything has been perfect.
Make sure you get their punch card, we've earned at least 3 free drinks thus far. -

The Coffee Haus has been on my 'to visit' list for a while now. So, when faced with the prospect of meeting a stranger I'd only spoken to online, I decided to suggest meeting at Coffee Haus. I figured, if the guy didn't work out, I could at least trust in the fact that I'd be able to experience some tasty Boba tea. (And get a Yelp review out of it!) So, there I went to meet a guy who was essentially a stranger, having only texted for about a week.
Anxious, nervous and feeling just plain antsy about what may arise once our 7PM meet up time came, I found a seat in the relatively small seating area. I hadn't realized how small the place was based on pictures here on Yelp. There were plenty of tables and seats, but the quarters were a little tighter than expected. It was fine when the place was relatively empty, but once the teenagers invaded (I'll get to that soon), it felt a wee bit cramped. However, I will say I liked the design of the seating area. It was kind of hip and very comfy! Very unlike the parking lot situation, which was a bit of a mess. Coffee Haus is located in a strip mall with a very tight parking lot. It was way more crowded than I expected for 6:45 on a Wednesday. And as far as visibility, if you don't know it's there, you will probably miss it on your first pass.
Cut to: the stranger arrives, giving me the slightly awkward 'nice to meet you' hug, we order drinks and get to enjoying them! I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with Boba. It tasted great. I'm very curious about the other menu items. Some of their teas sounded delicious! It was a good size drink (one size only for Boba) and was nice and cold! They mixed my pretty purple drink really well. My new friends drink was just as pretty and must have tasted good, since he drank it all! The Bingsoo looked delicious, but I decided against ordering any, since, well, I wasn't sure if I would need to bounce early or not! But, trying Bingsoo at their 2nd location in South Elgin is on my 'to-do' list!
Interestingly, after 9PM, Coffee Haus was inundated with teens who all seemed more than comfortable there. So, a note to anyone who's out of high school, you may want to plan your Boba Tea/Bingsoo excursion for earlier in the evening, if you don't want to be surrounded by teenagers. Shortly after 9, the stranger and I decided to call it a night. It was getting a bit loud in Coffee Haus due to the crowd. We parted ways with another slightly awkward hug and a 'nice to meet you'.
Coffee Haus lived up to my expectations. I probably won't go out of my way to head back, because the dining area is a bit small and there are closer Boba places to me. But that won't stop me from recommending it to people in the area who are looking for a good tea place! -

I'm not typically a complainer, but boy do I have a story to tell. I walked in here at about 4:30 on a Monday evening. From the looks of the outside I didn't expect it to be too busy considering the random time of day I chose to go, but who would've guessed Monday is the most popular day of the week for bubble tea fanatics.
This being my first time here, I found this as an opportunity to browse through my options and take my time deciding what I wanted to get. Twenty five minutes go by and I'm finally about to place my order (found that a bit ridiculous, but the place was small and they only had three people working behind the counter).
Another fifteen minutes go by after placing my order and I finally receive my bubble smoothie. I ordered a pineapple/mango smoothie with lychee popping boba. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect. Instead of popping boba, they gave me lychee jellies (I had no idea what jellies were prior to placing my order, so I know I didn't misspeak).
I have never been the person to cause a scene when there is a minor error, but I just waited over half an hour for this smoothie and I was not trying to leave dissatisfied. I patiently waited at the pick up counter for an employee to assist me considering the rush at this point had died down. It took me two minutes to grasp the attention of one of them. I explained what my issue was and she seemed very uninterested in helping me. She actually offered to put boba on top of my smoothie rather than just making me a new one. A second associate (the one that took my order) comes up. He then suggests "straining" my beverage to get the jellies out rather than remaking it. Interesting...but no thank you.
At this point I lost my patience. I spent almost an hour waiting on one beverage but then it was too much of an inconvenience for them to make me a new one. Once I left this dungeon of an establishment, I took a sip of my sloppily presented smoothie and I found pieces of plastic from whatever strainer they used to remove the jellies I never asked for.
I definitely will not be returning here until they either expand their property or it's ten minutes to close to assure I'm not going to be leaving with plastic as a replacement for my boba. -

My wife and I stopped here for dessert after lunch. Even on Sunday afternoon at 3 it was packed. I don't think I'd want to come here on Friday or Saturday night. The parking isn't the best and the strip mall is kind of dinky. There's a table outside and plenty of seating inside, but still feels rather tight. Not an ideal place if you have an infant or toddler.
Despite the long line, it moved quickly and service was fast & friendly. We ordered a kona mocha frappe and a mango bingsoo cup.
The frappe was very good. My wife commented that the coffee flavor came through and that it wasn't too icy or watered down. This was my first time trying bingsoo, so I was happy they offered a cheaper cup option for around $4 instead of just a large bowl option for around $8. The bingsoo was very good and the cup size was perfect for me. Very nice mix of ingredients, making for interesting flavors. The bottom of the cup was just crushed ice, though.
Very good experience overall.
